What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist with Priority Care Rehab Staffing, you'll help patients regain their mobility, strength, and independence after injury, illness, or surgery. You'll create personalized treatment plans that make a real difference in people's lives—whether that's helping someone walk again after a stroke or supporting a child in reaching their developmental milestones.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Evaluate patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs and goals
Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and specialized equipment to improve mobility and reduce pain
Track patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
Educate patients and families on exercises, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients
What We're Looking For
Required:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
Current state licensure in NY, NJ, CT, or FL (or eligible for licensure)
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Preferred:
1+ years of experience in skilled nursing facilities or home health care settings
CPR/BLS certification
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Specialty certifications (geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, or pediatrics)
