What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist with Priority Care Rehab Staffing, you'll help patients regain their mobility, strength, and independence after injury, illness, or surgery. You'll create personalized treatment plans that make a real difference in people's lives—whether that's helping someone walk again after a stroke or supporting a child in reaching their developmental milestones.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs and goals

  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and specialized equipment to improve mobility and reduce pain

  • Track patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed

  • Educate patients and families on exercises, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care

  • Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely

  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients

What We're Looking For

Required:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program

  • Current state licensure in NY, NJ, CT, or FL (or eligible for licensure)

  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

  • Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Preferred:
  • 1+ years of experience in skilled nursing facilities or home health care settings

  • CPR/BLS certification

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

  • Specialty certifications (geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, or pediatrics)
