What You'll Do
Bring meaningful therapy directly into patients' homes across NYC's five boroughs. You'll work primarily with pediatric patients (ages 3-17), along with some adult and geriatric cases. Build your own caseload in your preferred zip codes while receiving dedicated support from your operations manager, who serves as your direct supervisor.
Whether you're a Physical Therapist helping children develop motor skills, an Occupational Therapist supporting independence in daily activities, or a Speech-Language Pathologist enhancing communication abilities, you'll make a lasting impact in the comfort and familiarity of each patient's home.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Conduct initial evaluations to assess each patient's needs, abilities, and therapy goals
Coordinate directly with parents, guardians, or caregivers to schedule evaluation and treatment sessions
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's home environment
Provide therapy sessions (minimum 30 minutes per visit) at patients' homes
Adapt your therapeutic approach to work within the unique setting of each home
Track patient progress and modify treatment strategies as needed
Build trusting relationships with patients and their families
What We're Looking For
Required:
Master's or Doctoral degree in PT, OT, or SLP from an accredited program
Current New York State licensure
Reliable transportation to travel between patients' homes
Smartphone and laptop/desktop for documentation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working independently in home settings
Preferred:
Home health care experience
Experience with pediatric populations (ages 3-17)
Familiarity with diverse family structures and NYC communities
CPR/BLS certification
Bilingual abilities
